All still a bit on the quiet...
Sand Martins are present on every visit, four this evening but no large numbers yet. Chiffchaffs are around, three singing at the CES site this evening and several seen around the pools in recent days.
A male Goosander on the river yesterday, small numbers of Teal present in all the Winter haunts, 25 Wigeon off Patch this afternoon and Water Rails still squealing in the reed-bed....
Not quite the feeling of Spring !
