There were 4 darvic ringed gulls at Newport this morning, though only managed to nail one of them.
Recent feedback: A black headed gull on 23rd had been rung as a nesting adult near the German Baltic coast in May this year - this was the only subsequent sighting.
A Med Gull on 24th was ringed as a pullus SE of Paris in June 2013. In Sept it was in Argyll, by May 14 in S Brittany, by March 2015 had moved N to Finisterre & then on to Newport.
