Late afternoon walk skirting Puncheston Common. Snipe and Mallard. 15 or so Wood Pigeon. A few Starling. Group of Goldfinch, and Redwing. Usual late hunting Kestrel. Highlight this evening Short Eared Owl. Been around for past two weeks. (Maria Hemingway)
