An interesting day....

Started with a "drive by" spot of birding at Blackbridge, 24 Redhanks,2 Greenshanks & an adult Med Gull roosting on the old slipway on the high tide. Later in my garden, a ringed Starling coming in to feed on the pellets we throw out for the garden birds, very frustrating - an active creature - typical Starling, squabbling & bickering, impossible to read the ring - the picture tasken thro` glass didn`t help. Why aren`t the rings hi-vis like they use on Brents & Meds? Anyway finished off at the Gann with 26 Brents, 1 Canada Goose on the sea & the Little Gull again, which flew past me at a nice picture distance but the time it took the autofocus on my camera to lock on all I managed was it`s backside!
