Around high tide this evening, 27 Whimbrel, 1 GN Diver, 1 Fulmar circling between the car park & Black Rock - looking somewhat out of place against a backdrop of trees - 18 Ringed Plover, 10 Dunlin, 24 Brent Geese, a large female Peregrine & quite a few Swallows. At home the frequently heard singing Blackcap is now appearing more & more in our garden.
