A probable adult or possibly sub-adult male osprey was fishing off Landshipping Quay late this afternoon. Having been mobbed by some LBBGs, it eventually moved off up the Eastern Cleddau towards Blackpool Mill.
Last Saturday (6th Aug) we were on the Preselis and watched a hobby mobbing a local raven family for a few minutes before flying over towards woodland near Rosebush.
Yellowhammers near Martletwy included two males singing on telephone wires a couple of evenings ago.
