Nice to see the (presumably Cardigan) Barnacle geese joining the Canadas. I've never seen that flock at Newport before. Today 65 flew in c 11am. Also the regular (several weeks) 2 Whimbrels & 1 Greenshank. 2 Med gulls, an ad & a juv, & 2 of the regular ringed Herring gulls.
I had been hoping for small waders grounded by the low cloud, but couldn't find any.
