Canada geese (lots),
greenshank x2, greylag goose, common sandpiper x 2, ringed plovers
(many), dunlin x3 ish, little grebes x 3, goosander, kingfisher, sparrow
hawk, buzzard, curlew, and last but definitely not least an osprey,
which flew down stream towards
the sea, then must have circled back as we saw it do it again from the
bridge. It then circled back and roosted? On a dead tree branch about
100m?? Upstream from the bridge.
PS we saw a large adder basking in the sun and some long-tailed tits.
Quite a day!
