Karen had 2 Little & the Cattle by the bridge c8am. At 9 am 2 Littles only, though one initially looked interesting as it was in a field. 11am, again 2 Egrets on the S bank downstream. 1flew off NE ( the usual direction for "leaving" waterbirds - up the valley by the lime kiln). It clearly had a yellow bill & dark feet. On my return from dogwalking round the beach, just 1 Little.
The longstaying (late Feb - mid April) Cattle Egret at the bridge in 2009 used to move between the bridge & a pond with cattle up the Moylegrove road ie the direction this bird flew off this morning.
