Teifi Marshes Bittern

The Bittern performed nicely on a cold and frosty morning at the Kingfisher pond today. It emerged from the blackthorn scrub at 09:25, just as the first rays of the sun hit the reeds on the shore, and warmed up for about half an hour before skating across the ice and lurking in the patch of reeds behind the wooden box.

Getting its back warm
Lurking
Also at least two Marsh Tits at the Wildlife Centre feeders (one ringed, one not).
