Gann & Deer Park

I finally caught up with the American Wigeon this evening. On the high tide several groups of 10-20 Wigeon and Teal were feeding on the salt flats above the footbridge, along with around 20 Pale-bellied Brents. I could not count accurately the roosting Curlew, but there could have been 100+ birds across the marsh.
On the pools a nice selection of waders, including a Greenshank, 3 Dunlin, 8 Bar-tailed Godwit, around a dozen Redshank scattered around, and 40+ Oystercatchers on the small island. 4 Goldeneye (1m, 3f) and 6 Little Egret. Only a single Great-crested Grebe on the sea.

Earlier this afternoon we saw 2 Razorbills and a Guillemot feeding close to Wooltack Point, a female Peregrine over, and 10+ Porpoise in the tidal race
