Teifi -- Bittern, Scoter, Warblers

A Bittern was seen and photographed well again yesterday from Kingfisher Hide, it hadn't shown by 930am this morning. Variable numbers of Common Scoter are in the estuary mouth just beyond the surf, 14 this morning, 9 this afternoon.
A Chiffchaff in the damp woodland by Poppit car park and a Blackcap in a St. Dogmael's garden yesterday complement the singing Cetti's on the Marshes. Goosander- max 3 and Goldeneye - max 6 are still on the river generally above Priory Bridge and a Goshawk flew over Rosehill Marsh and up Cilgerran Gorge yesterday.
 A Sanderling can still be found amongst the wintering waders, 52 Dunlin, 13 Ringed Plover, 3 Grey Plover, 1 Bar-tailed Godwit the current population.
Three Med Gulls were best this afternoon prior to the Gull roost.
