A lovely male Redstart was back on territory, singing eagerly at 06.45 this morning in Llandilo woods, where the Bluebells are beginning to emerge in numbers. Our Pied Wags are busy building and the garden Dunnocks are feeding young in the nest but our usual 3 pairs of Swallows have yet to arrive, though lots are passing through feeding among the cows in the fields.A lovely time of year.
