Marloes: Shoveler 13 m, 7 f. Teal 23 m, 11 f. The wagtail flock had moved to the field behind Trehil farm c30 White and 10 Pieds. Dunlin flying over. 3 Snipe near Martins Haven. Male Kestrel. 5 Chough. A Crow nesting in Blackthorn bush about 6' high. Gann: A male Peregrine appeared from no where flushing the Oystercatchers and a single Redshank. He quickly homed-in on the Redshank as it flew over the water and after 2 or 3 attempts grabbed it. In the struggle it dropped onto the sea. A Herring gull alerted by the commotion tried to pick up the struggling Redshank, but the Peregrine hadn't given up and after a brief tussle with the gull, snatched the floundering Redshank off the water and headed off. A Red-legged partridge on the verge near turn to Walwyns Castle.
