Since a young boy many years ago I have always wanted to see a Red Footed Falcon, something mystical about them that fired my imagination with that Orange orbital eye & Grey sombre cloak like plumage & feet that were on fire....
First I have to thank the anonymous finder who satisfied a boyhood desire in the best way possible, a stunning male that allowed myself & Brian to approach carefully & allow us to take many photos - as a few other birders have too - not of the same quality maybe but hugely satisfying all the same
