A walk along the West Bank of the Cleddau yesterday was pretty uneventful for birds, but we did find a large flock of finches in Benton Woods, near some stubble fields. Amongst these were at least 4 smart male Bramblings. Probably many more, since the flock numbered in the hundreds.
