Willow Tit, Crossbill, Hen Harrier...

A lovely day spent bird-watching produced several birds of  real interest.
At Glynaeron Wood things were generally quiet this morning, but  a single Crossbill could be heard and then seen high up in trees near the bottom of the hill..
At Llangloffan Fen, there were a number of Great Tits and Long-tailed Tits and a Willow Tit was calling almost incessantly from near the board-walk.

Later in the day, nearly an hour and a half spent waiting at Puncheston Common was rewarded with a view of the female Hen Harrier that can often be seen there.
