The Teifi

A short ringing session early this morning on the Teifi Marshes found a few Sedge Warblers, Reed Warbler and Chiffchaff, also 2 Coot still present.
A high tide visit  found 10 Dunlin and 7 Ringed Plover but later as the tide dropped 4 Redshank, 5 Bar-tailed Godwits, 17 Wigeon and 3 Shoveler were feeding around the open estuary. A rare look at the old Jewsons site produced 14 Black-tailed Godwits. 2  Common Scoter were just behind the surf in the bay too.
