A Whinchat was at the Marloes Sands end of Dale Airfield this morning around the blackthorn thicket where the Red-backed Shrike was present last year. Among the other birds were several Stonechat, large numbers of Linnet, plenty of Meadow Pipits, a few Skylark, at least 2 Wheatear and a Sparrowhawk.
