Carew Cheriton, Corse

When first seen yesterday these 6 little egrets were all perched in an ash tree, in spite of it being 700m from Radford Pill and low tide. They dropped into the field to feed around the Simmentals on Stephen's Green (organic) farm, viewable from Paddock Lane, between Carew Cheriton and Milton. My record for little egrets following the cattle here is 14: I keep a lookout for cattle egret (obvs), none so far.

WEBS today at Castlemartin Corse included double figures curlew, snipe, lapwing, golden plover, but best bird was yet another wheatear.
