Still good numbers of warblers moving through today: the largest proportion being Blackcaps, but closely followed by Willow Warblers, with 2 noticeably "cold" Chiffchaffs thrown in.
2 singing Whitethroats on the Deer Park, and reeling Grasshopper Warblers there and just outside the Marine Nature Reserve. And Wheatears singing and displaying along the fence lines, on the Rath, and even on our roof!
A Collared Dove on the roof was a relatively unusual 42nd bird on the Garden Lockdown List, with a further 11 species having been seen/heard from, but not in, the garden.
And a party of 5 Whimbrel dropped down in the field for a feeding stop.
The main raptor fun today was from the Merlins: both male and female seen several times, including a wonderful calling display over the fields. Also finally managed to get a picture of the rather more photographically-obliging male Kestrel.
