More Ridgeway birds

I walked up over the fields again, and noticed the next field up towards the Ridgeway (from where I saw the whitethroats the other day) was being ploughed. It wasn't possible to get close, so I waited by the doubly-fenced hedgebank; sure enough, there were two white wagtails (and three pied) in the furrows. About 30 herring and 6 lesser black-backs following the plough. Three greylags flew over, a buzzard was mobbed by a crow, a red kite came to investigate..... Some record shots:
