After closing the moth trap early this morning I thought I’d take a walk to hear the remaining dawn chorus, which was amazing, and obviously included more species than list below.
Boat club to Iron bridge - 1Whimbrel, 1 Swallow, 1w Mute Swan, 12 Shelduck, a pair of Blackcaps, numerous Chiffchaff and Willow Warblers, 3 Common Sandpipers, 1 Sand Martin and the occasional reeling from a Grasshopper Warbler.
