First Strumble Sand Martin of the year

... At least it was my first, seen this afternoon, flitting by low over the ground, in off the sea. A Peregrine sat on a rocky Outcrop to the east was nice and a reminder of the winter in the shape of a single Redwing,

Earlier in the morning i visited Fishguard Harbour and was pleased to see two pairs of Black Guillemots showing signs of courtship, also a distant G N Diver.

Phew springs on the way and some freedom of movement ... and maybe a Grand-Slam and then this winter of our discontent would truly be made glorious for this Cymruphile son of York!
