Usual circuit this evening. 3 male Blackcaps (2 Martins Haven, 1 by Britton Hide), possibly more Chiffchaff today with one out on Wooltack Point. 19 Wheatear and 2 Snipe in the rough pasture. 2 Sparrowhawks (1 Deer Park, 1 by Britton Hide). Buzzard carrying a mouse to nest site, Little Grebe sat tight on her nest. 3 chough. Male Merlin sat on Oriole Hide. 25 Teal on mere and a Heron. (male Garganey recorded in note book). And 3 geese flying westward on way home near race course, only silhouettes.
