Went looking for Garganeys, no luck with them, but the Short-eared owl was some consolation as it did circuits of Varna cottage on the bank. About a dozen Teal, one pair displaying with the male doing lots of head-bobbing, 5 Gadwall, 10 Shoveler and 20 Mallard, quite a few have taken to grazing in the adjacent fields. A Swallow and 6 Sand martins. Two more Swallows at Mullock. Female Sparrowhawk, single Wheatear and Chough on walk over to Martins Haven.
