The Gann

A sea mist over the bay & across the lagoon reduced visibility somewhat, however not too bad for birds. 2 Sandwich terns fishing close in, 1 Grey Plover, c12 Ringed Plover, 5 Dunlin, 21 Brent. On the lagoon I could hear constant Redshank calling & just about make out some of their shapes thro the mist with a few other vague "shadows" behind them which could`ve been anything! On the way back to the car I met 3 of  Pembrokeshire`s finest bird ringers, Mike & Theresa Sherman - with the birding equivalent of the "Stig" - on their way to net some Waders.
