Very quiet at St Davids Head, just a Tree Pipit of note, best thing was the appearance of the masses Of (Heath?) Spotted Orchids. Meanwhile in the Anghof Valley the Grey Herons are doing well with two well-grown young at two nests. We couldn't see what was in the third since a bird was sitting tight, a good sign though. Nice to see and hear a family party of Treecreepers and also loads of Goldcrests singing. Some of the Elms in the valley are really getting quite big now and no sign of disease - fingers crossed.
