My brother reported "thousands of shearwaters" in St Bride's Bay late-morning after last night's blow. Amongst them was what appeared, from the initial view of the upper body, to be a far smaller (half the size), white-rumped "shearwater". But the dark underparts were eventually seen: a probable Leach's Petrel.
