Stack Rocks

The Guillemot colony at Stack Rocks had thinned out further when I visited this afternoon but was still pretty busy. Surely it can't be long before they all depart.

A Great Black-backed Gull was patrolling and causing plenty of chaos - I couldn't tell if it was after any remaining chicks or the fish which were still being brought in.

Nearby a Peregrine was perched near the cliff top for a while before flying off. (Thanks to the couple visiting Pembrokeshire who pointed the bird out to me!)
