Less predictable than the gulls, a Stock Dove flying over the marsh was an interesting start to the evening.
Back to gulls - amongst the 350 Black-headed Gulls, 2 juvenile Med and 1 2nd cal yr Common Gull at the Webley high tide roost. The creche of 5 juvenile Shelduck are surviving well, as is the parent-less juvenile Little Grebe on Mallard Pond. 1or 2 Common Sandpipers on the river. 9 Mute Swan cygnets are around the marsh/river, and 16 adults are starting the build up of the moulting flock.
