A juvenile Garganey at Marloes Mere this evening, 60 Mallard and 10 Teal, all very jittery (probably a fox). Earlier at St Ann's, 12 Pied wagtails and a Kestrel at Kete. Gann: 50 small waders mostly Ringed Plover and Dunlin with 2 Sanderling. 8 Turnstones, 2 Knot, 4 Redshank, 2 Common Sandpipers and a Greenshank. Large flock of BH Gulls dip feeding and about 500 large gulls loafing around.
150 Oystercatchers. This morning Dale airfield: 2 Snipe, a Curlew and a Ringed plover. Young Kestrel on runway eating a vole. 12 Wheatear. Flock of 50 Goldfinch on track up.
