Black headed gull 24A2, Ringed as a nestling in Gloucestershire in June 2013 has now been at Newport since June 30 with 5 subsequent sightings. This is the first ringed BH that I know of that's stayed around rather than just passed through.
Herring gull orange W3FT here today was also here on April 18 having been ringed at Pitsea landfill site in Essex in Dec 2013.
An uncanny similarity of dates with the 2CY Iceland, at Newport on April 18 & Aug 7.
