Green Sandpiper around the marsh during the last two days, may prefer the mud at Otter hide at the moment with these high tides. One calling Whimbrel over Mallard pond today was a surprise, though some Curlew are roosting on the marsh.
Early morning ringing during the last four days has produced 44 Sedge and 62 Reed Warblers, though through ageing, fat scores and retraps this suggests acro migration is not yet underway.
