Marloes Mere and Deer Park

The Garganey was still there with c25 Teal, 3 Shoveler, 6 Wigeon and 50 Mallard, majority in the flooded marsh beyond Britton Hide. 3 Black-tailed godwits and 6 Snipe flying around. 2 Lapwing flew over. Goldcrest out from Britton Hide. (In note book: Firecrest seen earlier and the 2 Marsh Harriers reported again yesterday). Masses of Cranefly on way over to Deer Park. A couple of flocks of 20 Goldfinch on Knapweeds. Female Sparrowhawk. Whitethroat, Blackcap, 2 Sedge Warbler. 7 Wheatear. Martins Haven very quiet. 3 Whinchat on Deer Park.
