From Maria Hemingway - Yesterday afternoon there were a couple of hundred Golden Plover
feeding on a sheep field on Carningli alongside a large group of Herring
Gulls, Lesser Black Back and two Greater Black Backed Gulls. Plenty of
Buzzards, two Red Kite, two Sparrowhawk and a Kestrel.
From Newport
Bridge two Water Rail, two Greenshank, leucistic Herring Gull with a
large mixed group of Gulls, c five hundred Canada Geese with one Bar
Headed Goose, two female Goosander, two Teal, Mallard and two adult Mute
Swans.
