A flock of 22 crossbills at Ty Rhyg this morning was the highest count for at least a couple of years. Other odd individuals also passed over too. At least 7 individual bramblings including 5 together were among many chaffinches, goldfinches, linnets and skylarks flying east or south. Surprisingly, only a handful of redwings and fieldfares.
