What a difference a day makes... The airfield and track up was incredibly quiet. All of yesterdays Redwings seemed to have passed through. 2 Song thrush and a Mistle Thrush was all I could find. A good look around the Gann and its immediate area for yesterdays shrike was also fruitless. Whilst watching the shrike yesterday one of the regular dog walkers stopped so as not to spook it and afterwards mentioned there'd been a phalarope here on Thursday. Just shows what comes and goes without most of us knowing!
