Skomer

A few good birds in the last few days and some good movements of common migrants. Highlights have included 3 Great Northern Divers, a Barnacle Goose, Ring Ouzel and a male Dartford Warbler yesterday. Today there were an incredible 10 species of raptor and owl on the island, and that doesn't include any of the Goshawks that have been hanging around laterly. There were lots of Skylarks, finches (incl. the first Bramblings of the autumn), swallows and thrushes passing through this morning and a siberian type Chiffchaff was seen briefly at North Valley Crossing this afternoon.

See the Recent Sightings tab on our blog for full totals and pictures.
