Thrushes

Two Redwings ringed this morning on the Pembs part of the Teifi Marshes Reserve, and approx. 180 Fieldfare flew over in two groups, both heading north into bandit country. We're also getting quite a few Song Thrushes, some of them very dark (Northern-looking?) birds.

We also ringed an interesting-looking Chiffchaff; more details on the Teifi Ringing Group blog in due course.

The Starling roost is up to (very) approximately 5,000 birds, somewhere in the reeds between the Creek Hide and the river.
