A Garganey among the many duck today. c 300 Teal, minimums 50 Mallard, 50 Wigeon, 30 Shoveler, 10 Gadwall, 10 Snipe, 4 Lapwing. A Ring-tail was hunting near the North Pond, causing usual panic and shifting the duck around. 100s of gulls bathing and min 5,000 starling in the stubble field behing Britton Hide. Couple of Goldcrest in willows. Earlier at the Gann: Many gulls mostly LBB and Herring, with just a handful of BH gulls and GBB. 3 GC grebe in the bay. 20 Lapwing, Kingfisher and female Sparrowhawk.
