Dale

2 visits to the Gann: 1st visit around 2: 150 curlew, 8 Wigeon, 5 Redshank, 3 Goldeneye. 3 Med gulls. 2nd visit around 3:30: New birds were 3 Grey plover and eventually located the Little gull roosting on the foreshore at 4'ish just after Derek left. Bumped into Pete H earlier who tipped me off about large gull numbers inc. 70 Med gulls up at Kete. It was really blustery but managed 102 Meds all 2cy/adult with only one 1cy bird. Nipped over to stake out the Dale roost later and managed 100 before the flock repositioned well off shore with waves of gulls still dropping in at 4.45 as light was going. Who knows how many or what else might be among them!
