Yesterday, in the brief sunshine, three very smart Goosanders, 2 male and one female, feeding in the raging and roaring Teifi as it crashed through the gorge at Cilgerran near the Wildlife Centre. They were just managing to stem the flow though kept mainly to the eddies near the edge where they were actively diving for fish, though how they could see anything in the reddish murk I cannot imagine.
