At last Sunday's Pembs Bird Conference, Clive Hurford gave an excellent presentation on basic wader ID. A PDF copy of the presentation can be downloaded in the REPORTS section of the Pembrokeshire Bird Group Blog site. This is certainly something worthwhile browsing during those gloomy, wet winter days.
In the New Year Clive is proposing to lead a field trip to local estuaries, for those who wish to brush up on wader ID. So look out for further announcements about this.
