A second Firecrest in 2 days! One on Saturday at the Welsh Wildlife Centre car park and today one along the footpath that runs through a marshy area from Poppit car park to Cardigan Bay Holiday Park.
Other news from the north of the county - a colour-ringed Common Gull was on the Nevern Estuary this morning. Unfortunately I couldn't read all of the letters but think it was A?VN red inscribed with white letters. Initial research on cr-birding looks like it was ringed in Germany. Hopefully someone will see it again and get the whole code. A Great-crested Grebe was on the sea seen from Newport boat club.
