Great Northern Diver - Teifi

Amazing but we think true, this Great Northern Diver is a new bird for the Teifi....
A great bird to start our Teifi Patchwork Challenge..

We only occasionally see Divers off the Teifi, and they have always been Red-throated. So quite a surprise sitting at The Webley looking over a couple of Common Gulls and seeing this Great Northern..

 By 3pm the Diver was eating small crabs off Patch (photos Dyfed James)

Shelduck are on the move with 10 today, but 92 Lapwings remains a low figure.
