A good gull roost this evening. However, it was split into two groups. A smaller group under the Woodstock mast and the main roost in the middle of the reservoir. Unfortunately, couldn't locate the Ring-billed Gull, but did have a smart 2nd winter Iceland Gull that dropped in at 16.20.
On the way back home, I was very surprised to see a Barn Owl hunting over the road near Ludchurch.
At Amroth earlier, 9 Red-throated Divers, a pair of Red-breasted Mergansers, 3 Great Crested Grebes and several Scoter.
