Milton chiffchaff...

....still there! Walk 250 yards along the "Carding Mill Nature Trail" from the footbridge at the Milton end, the chiffchaffs (the Siberian and 2-3 ordinary) are based along a 30-yard stretch of streambank, at the back of a sunny clearing. Also present: goldcrest, a bullfinch pair, goldfinch, chaffinch, song and mistle thrush, blackbird, a redwing, jay, wren, robin, blue, great and long-tailed tit - a magical spot to spend an hour in.

PS Pochard on upstream side of Carew Bridge - an unusual sight hereabouts.
