Common Sandpipers

From Mervyn Jones - Had 2 Common Sands at Rhoose Ferry today .  There was one there before Christmas 17/12 and 23/12 but not since and i assumed it had moved down river from other reports on the Blog but of course i could have missed it as i am sure it moves around. Birds present 2pm till 2 45 pm when i left them but 2 now wintering in the area as surely too early for Spring birds.    Kingfisher also, always  nice to see.
