Dinas

The first willow warbler I've heard singing this spring, on the slopes just above Dinas. I just checked my notes and this is precisely the same date that i heard my first one last year (in Goodwick). Spooky. In 2014 my notes say Dinas on 4th April. I wouldn't draw too much from that though... And many linnets singing - single birds, small groups, and one larger group of 15 with several singers, up in a tree. The singers seemed to give themselves some room from the edges of the flock, then burst into song. Skylarks, dunnocks and wrens all singing up there too this morning - it was really nice.
